Exhibitors and writers from all over the world are anticipated to attend the annual event, which will be held at the Palace of Culture and Science venue in the Polish capital. These nations will include distant nations like China, India, and South Korea.
According to the Polish national news agency PAP, Ukraine will be a special partner nation of this year's expo, with representatives from 40 different Ukrainian publishing firms scheduled to attend Warsaw.
Vasyl Zvarych, the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland, requested on Tuesday that Polish publishers assist their Ukrainian counterparts and cooperate "on the common literary front" during a news conference announcing the event.
In order for Ukrainian authors to be read in other languages, Zvarych remarked, "as Ukrainians, we want our books to become more and more popular in the world."
He continued, saying that "many Ukrainian books have already been translated by Polish translators," which was "an expression of solidarity" in the face of Russia's invasion of his nation.
He revealed at the press conference that Olena Zelenska, the first lady of Ukraine, was working on a project overseas that involved significantly translating Ukrainian literature into other languages.
